January’s One Class at a Time Award winner is Mr. Dwight Asberry, Band Director and teacher at Desert Mirage High School in Thermal.
Teachers and family members from all over the valley came together at the Coachella Valley Art Center to showcase their canvases they have been working on for weeks.
Our very own Visual and Performing Arts (VAPA) teachers Armida Luna from Las Palmitas Elementary School and Walter Cole from Sea View Elementary School helped guide students with their canvas art to showcase at this year's Desert X Art Exhibition.

Virginia Mora, a 6th grade teacher at Mecca Elementary school, is recognized by Kelly Clarkson on the Kelly Clarkson show for her dedication to our students!
